Comparative Study on Platform of Political Parties in General Election in 2005

General election, for people, it is a political participation, but it means a political competition for politician, the book, then, could be a handbook both for people and politician.

The experience of the ex-general election in 2000 shown that the platform of Political Parties, known as a populist policy is both advantage for electoral campaign and political competition. According to this experience we anticipate that the next general election in the early 2005, the electoral campaign and political competition of political parties will be focused on seeking the advantage of platform, then, the platform of Political Parties should be informed to people as a public choices. The book is aimed at studying the present election campaign on the comparative study of platform of Political Parties, to study the dimension of platform in terms of political, economy and social aspect and to focus the probability consequence of platform of political parties in terms of political, economy and social impact.

The contribution of the book is expected to provide the public education, to mobilize the political participation, to promote the platform campaign in the next general election in 2005 and to provide the public choices in terms of the decision making of Thai people in the general election.
